Frequency Conversion

RFMD^® offers a selection of frequency conversion products including downconverters, modulators, and demodulators. Our frequency conversion products offer our customers choices to meet their specific cost, performance, and size requirements for their application. All of RFMD’s frequency conversion products are 100% RoHS compliant.

Downconverters

RFMD offers high-linearity, downconversion mixer modules designed for use in cellular, 3G, LTE, and other high-performance communications systems. Each contains an integrated LO buffer amplifier and a passive mixer core with a differential IF amplifier output.

RFMD offers high-linearity, direct quadrature modulators designed for use in cellular base stations and other communications systems. Manufactured using an advanced GaAs HBT process, these devices operate from a single 5V supply.

Demodulators

RFMD offers monolithic integrated quadrature demodulators to recover the I and Q baseband signals from the amplified and filtered IF. The unit operates from a single 3V to 6V power supply.
