Gain Block Amplifiers

RFMD’s Gain Block Amplifiers provide stable performance over temperature and operate at 3V or 5V supply. Our Gain Blocks offer a wide range of P1dB, OIP3, Gain, and package styles to meet customer needs.

Active Bias Gain Blocks (SBB & SGC Series)

RFMD’s Active Bias Gain Blocks are a high-performance family of InGaP and SiGe HBT MMIC amplifiers utilizing a Darlington configuration with an active bias network. They provide stable performance over temperature and process Beta variations.

Non-Active Bias Gain Blocks

RFMD’s Non-Active Bias Gain Blocks consist of high performance MMIC amplifiers and GaAs general purpose, low-cost RF amplifiers. A Darlington configuration provides high fT and excellent thermal performance. Each of these low-cost RF amplifiers is designed for use as an easily cascadable 50Ω gain block.
