ISO 9001
RFMD is ISO9001 certified. ISO9001 requires that RFMD establish, document, implement and maintain a quality management system and continually improve its effectiveness. The company is required by the standard to identify the processes needed for the quality management system and their application throughout the organization. Certification to the ISO9001 Standard demonstrates the company's ability to consistently provide product that meets or exceeds customer and applicable regulatory requirements. It also shows the company's commitment to enhance customer satisfaction through the effective application of the system, including processes for continual improvement of the system and the assurance of conformity to customer and applicable regulatory requirements. AS 9100
The RFMD Broomfield location is also AS 9100 certified in support of our Aerospace and Defense business. AS 9100 is a widely adopted and standardized quality management system for the aerospace industry. It supplements ISO 9001 by addressing the additional expectations of the aerospace industry such as increased focus on configuration management, design and purchasing. This certification emphasizes our strong commitment to Quality in these marketplaces.
