Environmental Compliance
RFMD® green
To RFMD®, going "green" means taking our products beyond RoHS and lead-free compliance. RFMD currently surpasses RoHS and lead-free compliance through its continued elimination and/or reduction of restricted substances. A key part of RFMD green is the removal of banned heavy metals and hazardous flame retardants as well as continual efforts to eliminate halogens from our products. How does RFMD green affect our products and customers?
RFMD is actively making progress toward achieving "green" status for our products. RFMD products have already achieved lead-free and RoHS compliance, and there are broad initiatives underway throughout RFMD's product development efforts to achieve RFMD green compliance. Furthermore, RFMD's green initiative actions are consistent with known market timetables, and we have aligned our efforts with available lists of banned and restricted substances from our customers and partners.
ISO 14001
As part of the RFMD ISO 14001 certification program, RFMD displays an ongoing commitment to achieving corporate initiatives for recycling and reclaiming materials from our manufacturing operations. Up to 80 percent of precious metals and over 50 percent of solvents used at RFMD are reused, reclaimed or recycled. Materials that cannot be reclaimed, recycled or reused are properly disposed of to effectively manage and reduce RFMD's impact on its local and global environment.
Corporate Environmental Policy Statement

This will be done through a set of Objectives and Targets established to direct the efforts of the organization, which strives to reduce, reuse, recycle, and promote environmental awareness to preserve our natural resources.
