RFMD^® Green

Developing green products and material sets is a natural extension of RFMD’s overall environmental and corporate social responsibilities. RFMD green products help protect the environment by eliminating potentially hazardous materials from the products we sell that end up in commercial goods. To that end, RFMD offers products which meet international requirements such as RoHS, REACH, and low Halogen.

The RFMD green classification level covers multiple environmental compliance requirements found in legislation of banned substances around the world. Regulatory compliance started with lead-free requirements, and has progressed to ever greener products. The RFMD Green Definitions page shows the evolution of compliance levels developed within our industry and followed by RFMD.

The list of restricted substances will grow as more toxicological data emerges. This will drive companies to provide safer alternatives for these substances. RFMD is deeply committed to this global movement and to doing our part to protect the environment.

RFMD is committed to complying with applicable environmental regulations and all other requirements to which RFMD subscribes, prevention of pollution, and the continual improvement of the company's environmental management system.
