The RF6515 front end module (FEM) from RFMD is now available. The feature-rich RF6515 FEM improves the performance of 2.4 GHz - 2.5GHz ISM band wireless applications requiring longer-grange operation at high efficiency, inlcuding WLAN, ZigBee(R), SmartEngergy/Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) adn Home Area Networks (HANs).

RFMD now offers the RF5616, a highly integrated 4.9 - 5.8 GHz (ISM band), 3 x 3 mm power amplifier designed to significantly reduce cutsomers' total solution size and cost. The RF5616 is targeted for high-performance mobile PC and embedded applications including access points, gateways, DSL routers, wireless high definition interface (WHDI) and WLAN for wireless video distribution networks.

RFMD® has introduced the RF3482 front end module (FEM), which integrates a WiFi power amplifier with a single-pole, three-throw (SP3T) switch for 2.4 to 2.5 GHz ISM band applications.

The highly integrated, single-chip RF3858 addresses the increasing requirements for aggressive size reductions in the RF front end designs for portable equipment. It combines a PA capable of 31.5 dBm of output power with a (DPDT) Tx/Rx transfer switch, an LNA, and a Tx harmonic filter.

RFMD releases the RF6525, a highly integrated front end module that meets or exceeds the system requirements of ZigBee® applications operating in the 2.4 - 2.5 GHz frequency band and supports multiple applications. The complete RF6525/EM357 reference design was developed in collaboration with Ember Corporation to speed time-to-market.

RFMD releases a new portfolio of 10 -16 GHz GaAs pHEMT I/Q converters. These I/Q converters are the first in a series of new microwave radio front ends launched by RFMD for wireless backhaul applications.

RFMD now offers a family of highly integrated, laminate-based VCOs, the RFVC975x, for cellular infrastructure and other high-performance transceiver applications. These VCOs demonstrate leading RF performance and are 75 percent smaller than existing solutions.
